TikTok Download Not Working — Fixes That Usually Help

- Confirm the video is public — Open the link in TikTok without logging into a private account — private and friends-only posts cannot be downloaded.
- Copy a fresh share link — Use Share → Copy link again so the URL is not expired or truncated.
- Disable blockers for SnapTtok — Turn off content blockers, strict tracking protection, or VPN filters that may block snapttok.app or media CDNs.
- Retry on another network — Switch between Wi‑Fi and mobile data if a DNS or firewall blocks TikTok CDN hosts.
- Allow iOS or Android prompts — On iPhone, allow Safari download prompts; on Android, grant Chrome storage permission.

Private videos and restricted posts
SnapTtok only works with public TikTok URLs. If the video is private, friends-only, under age gate, or removed, the downloader cannot fetch it. Ask the creator for a public link, or use TikTok’s official save options when they apply.
Expired or bad links
Chat apps sometimes shorten or wrap links. Copy again with Share → Copy link in TikTok (see how to copy a TikTok link) and paste the full URL without extra spaces. Avoid profile or hashtag pages — you need the video (or slideshow) URL.
Content blockers, VPNs, and CDNs
- Disable ad blockers or script blockers for snapttok.app.
- Temporarily turn off VPN or DNS filters that block TikTok CDN hosts.
- Retry on mobile data if corporate or school Wi‑Fi filters media domains.
iOS Safari download prompts
